For Ice Cream
When I think of summertime treats, I think of fresh fruit ~ especially watermelon ~ snow cones and ice cream. I love a delicious bowl or cone of ice cream. The only thing I love more than that is a delicious bowl or cone of homemade ice cream. But what if you don’t have an ice cream maker? I have priced them and while they have come up with different methods of making ice cream since I was a little girl, I still can’t justify the price compared to the product you are getting. So I have spent the years trying to find the perfect store bought substitute to satisfy my craving for the sweet cream ~ of course that in itself can be quite pricey and only allows for a treat every so often. Fast forward to now….I have stumbled across a recipe that doesn’t require a machine…….and it makes delicious homemade ice cream! 🙂
Here is what you will need to make Homemade Cinnamon Bun Ice Cream…….
You need nutmeg as well….I forget to include it in the photograph.
It is very simple…..but I will let you see for yourself.

I did….I also checked out the Eagle Brand site as well. I added the nutmeg to my recipe cause I thought it would give it a little bit more flavor than just the cinnamon.

I’ve been stuck on watermelon, but had some cinnamon ice cream earlier this summer– it was sooo good. I’m going to have to try your recipe this weekend!
