The Bright Side

Instead of strolling the streets of sunny, historic Yorktown with 49 other people during the Scott Kelby 3rd Annual Photo Walk……I’m stuck at home dealing with a plumbing issue of the most inconvenient sort.   I’m currently awaiting the arrival of a plumber I hope will save the day without requiring me to cut off any of my limbs.  I do so enjoy the use of both arms and legs and would hate to part with any of them to pay the bill. 

On the bright side of all of this ~ I’m not currently strolling around sunny, historic Yorktown in 99ºF temperatures and a dangerous heat index of 107ºF.  I believe all things happen for a reason…….so I have plumbing issues that I couldn’t ignore due to the fact we have one bathroom in my house…..so I can’t go on the Photo Walk today….which means I can’t stroll in the dangerous heats….and perhaps that prevents me from suffering from a heat related illness of some sort?  Of course, if I didn’t have to pay a plumber, even brighter ~ but I take what I can get sometimes.

Still disappointed….but there is always next year.
